Summer League & Skill Sessions

Belmont Youth Lacrosse is excited to offer :


The 2017 Summer Lacrosse League and Skill Sessions (provided by Endless Summer Lacrosse) Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays evenings the weeks of July 10th thru August 14th.


Games will be played against other local towns once a week in either a Small Ball Format (6v6) on grass or turf or Box Style Format within an outdoor rink (3v3 and 4 v 4) between 6pm and 8pm.


The Skill Sessions will be offered once a week and will be provided by Endless Summer Lacrosse led by local college and high school players.


We are offering two options for registration:

Option 1)-$25.00 -Drop in and play no more than 2 games during  and attend 1 skill session during the 5 weeks.


Option 2) -$75.00- Play in all five games and participate in all 5 Skill Sessions.


Registration is open to all boys levels  U9 thru U15. Teams will  divided U9&U11 and U13& U15.

Belmont Youth Lacrosse is a 501 c (3) non-profit volunteer organization offering lacrosse programs for both boys and girls in grades 1-8 who live in or go to school in Belmont.  New players are welcome at any age level.

BYL Girls teams are members of the Founder’s Girls Lacrosse League FGLL (

BYL Boys teams participate in the Massachusetts Bay Youth Lacrosse League (


Age Eligibility and Team Assignments

  • U9     1st / 2nd grade boys and girls *
  • U11   3rd / 4th grade boys and girls
  • U13   5th / 6th grade boys and girls
  • U15   7th / 8th grade boys and girls

Time Commitment Expectation

  • 2 practices per week; 1 game on Sunday (8 week schedule)
  • *U9 boys and girls will play an abbreviated game schedule and have 1 practice per week.
  • Pre-season Sunday night lacrosse indoor training sessions will begin in March 2017 at Belmont High School.
